ITINERARY

Day 1 Arrival Saigon – Guided Walking Tour (Overnight in Saigon) (D)

Upon arriving in Ho Chi Minh, the appointed tour guide will welcome guests at Tan Son Nhat international airport and, then transfer the guests for hotel check-in and transport services end. Next, the tour guide will escort the guests for a guided walking tour to Nguyen Hue Street also the Café Apartment Block, and later for dinner arrangements at a nearby restaurant. After dinner is complete the appointed tour guide escorts the guests by walking return to the hotel, the tour program, and tour guide services end.

Day 2 Ho Chi Minh City –Cai Be @ Mekong Delta (Overnight in Cai Be) (B/L/D)

Depart early morning for Cai Be at the Mekong Delta, approximately 100 KM away from Ho Chi Minh City and the driving duration takes 02 hours. We will drive past the beautiful landscape of rice fields on the journey and finally reach the local jetty, the transport services end here. The guests will transfer by boat to Mekong Lodge Resort for check-in service and followed by a lunch serves at the resort’s restaurant. After lunch is complete, and around 2.30 PM the resort operator will organize a tour to visit local villages to see the process of hand-made banana leaves hammock, thatched from water coconut leaves, daily house products being made from water hyacinth, also a free sampling of local seasonal fruits and also entertained with a traditional folk music performance by the villagers. We will also experience by taking take a small sampan boat to cruise the small canals and villages. After the tour is complete, return to the resort to rest and relax and wait for dinner to serve in the resort’s restaurant. Tour program and tour guide services end.

Day 3 Cai Be @ Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (Overnight in Saigon) (B)

Enjoy early breakfast in the resort’s café next to the Mekong River, later, take a boat trip to Cai Be Floating Market, and local handicraft village. Check out from the resort around 11.00 AM and return to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arriving in Ho Chi Minh City we will continue to visit the local landmark attractions like the War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Saigon Central Post Office and lastly enjoy free time for shopping bargains at the Saigon Square Market and Ben Thanh Market & Takashimaya Shopping Mall. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant then transfer the guests’ return to the hotel, tour programs, tour guide, and transport services end.

Day 4 Depart Saigon – Day Trip to Cu Chi Tunnels – Transfer to Airport (B)

Tour program highlights for the day ~ Cu Chi Tunnels, approximately 40 KM northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, and driving durations to take 90 minutes. Upon arrival, we will explore  the vast network of underground tunnels from the 1940s, expanded by guerrilla Viet Cong forces during the American War. The local tour guide will bring you to explore some of the tunnels that remain unchanged and see plenty of evidence of the fierce battles that took place here. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant then return to Saigon and straight towards Tan Son Nhat International Airport and flight home with the memory of “An Awesome Holiday Experience in Vietnam”.
